Hi people, an error just occurred on my computer 3 minutes ago and I require some help >_< Heres the story:
I was happily listening to japanradio on winamp (clocked up about 45megs of music download), whilst running PSP8 and Frontpage for about 2 hours, then i decided to stop from work and do something fun.
I closed it all down, including any system tray programs which i didnt need, like Style XP to save on RAM (i always did this with VC).
With the Vice City Play CD already inserted, i ran the game and it worked fine. Now admitedly, this time I went straight into it, started running about and getting cars with less time then usual for the processor to get things going.
After about 20 seconds i attempted to get out of my car, and for the 4th time i had the game since christmas, it crashed, such a large game though its expected I thought.
So i managed to exit, and as the RAM might be clogged up from the data of VC, i restarted to refresh it.
.... Except, this time, the black screen appeared telling me the processor speed and CPUID or something like usual... and it couldn't find the Hard Disk or ROM Drives, and kept restarting over and over. When it is searching (if it is searching at all) the red light on my computer, the loading light, is grinding away... except as its a new hard drive you cant hear the grind... so whether its being stupid or grinding im not sure.

I turned the power off from pressing the power button for 5 seconds like you do, and left for 10 seconds before i turned it on again, yet it didnt change a thing.
I can't imagine how this has happened, since about 80% of my computer is at the most 6 months old, that includes the motherboard, graphics card, hard drive, processor.

Any help with this problem is appreciated ^_^
In the mean time, i'll rip it open to see if anything... looks different compared to usual!
