Hi
I have a Western Digital WD2500JD SATA hard disk. When I'm booting from my Windows XP CD, on the partition information I am showing just a single partition of 131,069MB.
Can anyone tell me why it is not showing up with it's correct size???

You probably don't have WinXPSP1 or better CD. The original WinXP CD can only support 137GB max. You may be able to use the Data Lifeguard utility from WD to format the drive. I am not sure of this. Another option is to slipstream SP1 or SP2 into a new WinXP CD. I am not sure of the solution when a SATA drive is involved.

I used your answer to search out some further info on Google. I swapped to a CD with SP1 and your answer proved 100% correct. Many thanks.
