i have a shuttle ak35gtr mother board...and a raidmax case, the hdd led connetor is placed correctly onto the mother board, but when i boot up the pc, the hdd led turns on and stays on until it detects my hard drive(which is normal) after that when booting into windows it wont work anymore, it turns off...i tried disconnecting the wire and reconnecting it, and it still doesthe same thing, and im 100% sure the wire is in the right place, and is positioned correctly, can someone help me with this?

It could be a bad case. I had a Raidmax case once and it was terrible. The wiring was messed up on mine too.

One thing you could try would be to flip the wire around 180 degrees and put it on. If not, then recheck ur positioning.

Well until pc has to access the hard drive it wont come on, try opening some program on your computer to see if it comes on

its not the problem with the pc accessing the drive, this used to work, i was reformatting my hard drive and installing windows when the windows installtion froze, so i manually reset my pc, and restarted the install, and then the hdd led stopped working.
