HDD LED turns red then computer crashes after installing new hard drive. It crashes even thou i am on the BIOS or installing windows.
It may be faulty - a percentage of all new hard drives are faulty when they leave the factory or are damaged in transit. Call Seagate and ask about procedure for returning it under warranty.
