HDD is not detected, system won't boot

Specs: Windows Vista
So yesterday I was having trouble with my laptop because it was running slow and it said that the wireless network adapter driver was corrupt and also the sound output driver, I figured it was a virus so I scanned the system and it found some and fixed them, I turned off the computer and turned it off the next day and it wouldn't boot, it showed the bios options screen where you can choose to press f1 f2 f10 to go into bios settings and then it goes to the black screen with the blinking underscore at the top left corner the one that usually lasts a second, and it got stuck, so I restarted the computer, pressed the f11 Recovery and it recovered the system to its factory condition and it was working fine, but then I turned it off again and after a couple of hours I turn it on and it goes to that black screen again and that's it, i tried to do the hard disk test and it failed, I also tried inserting the Windows Vista CD and doing the repairing or reinstalling but it said that there is no hard disk to install it on and that's it plz help? I wanted to take out the hard disk and reinsert it again but idk what will happen (its a HP G60-244DX Laptop)
