Just looking for an opinion to back me up I guess. Bought this computer in 04. After 6 months the hdd drive filed. (under warranty but I was down a week).Same thing 6 months later, then 5 months later. With my limited knowledge I suspected the power supply, which they would not replace. Finally lightning got it and they replaced the psu and the motherboard. Hdd started clicking again within 2 months. But it had been with the old psu for a while and I still think it was damaged from the old psu. This time I ignored the warranty and had a different brand hdd installed locally. It has been in 4 months. Just looking for an opinion about the psu being the original problem. Thanks.

Weak PSUs can cause hard drive problems and it shows up as the drive clicking. But wether it causes any damage to the hard drive that would cause it to fail with a new stronger PSU, I kinda doubt.
