On my other PC, P2 350MHz 400+MB ram, 3GB & 15GB HDD, the 3GB HDD seems to be giving me a problem with booting, I fdisked, deleted the partiton, reformated, sysed and tried again, no luck, so I fdisked again, and low level formatted, I still got the same error, it pops up "L 07 07 07 07 07 07 07 07" and the 07s continue, I have never seen this before, it used to have linux on it, but I figured low level formating the HDD would re-write the boot sector getting rid of LILO. ANy help is greatly appreciated.

FalconX:

Have you tried FDisk /mbr that is supposed to rewrite the master boot record.

LILO should go with:
fdisk /mbr
I suggest you fdisk for fat32 (LBA)and format the partition on this 3 Go drive. You can use a Windows 98 or ME boot disk for this job.Good luck.
