Specs: windows 7
Hey guys, hoping to get some help here. My monitor just started going into power save mode for no reason and can not wake it up, even though psm is disabled. I'm wondering if my graphics card could be going or if its the vga cable or even as far as the monitor. I've cleaned all contacts, reseated card all still gettin same results. I'm using a radeon hd 4600 series card, and have had it for 3 years.

Just thinking, perhaps, could my graphics card be overheating aswell, I do use my computers graphics pretty aggressively.

Not much we can do when you don't list any specs or provide a decent explanation. Could be the power supply, or the motherboard, or the graphics card, or the monitor. Did you test the monitor on another system to confirm it's OK?

Sorry, didn't think my question required my pc specs. I will get them and post shortly. I have confirmed one thing, my monitor works fine. I hooked up my laptop to my monitor and it has not gone into power save mode.
