I have an XBOX system, and I need it near my computer for XBOX Live, because my router is there.

What hardware do I need to run the a/v through the computer?

to make it alot cheaper and easier on yourself just keep the XBOX near your tv and get a 300ft CAT5 (or however far the XBOX is from your router) and bam, all your problems solved for about $30

I agree, just get a CAT5 cable and run it to your xbox.
