can someone please explain to me what does 3 beeps mean during startup...i'm unable to boot up during my startup but instead receive 3beeps over and over again...

Depends on which BIOS you are using. The beep codes are there to identify POST errors which occur before the video is loaded.

At a guess, you've probably got a RAM failure.

well, i have no idea what bios i'm using because the monitor isn't coming up....if you think its the RAM failure....how do i approach this problem??...

3 beeps usually indicates video card problems.

Disconnect power.

Open the case and remove the RAM modules and carefully place them aside.

Connect power.

Attempt to reboot (you won't be able to without RAM.

Same three beeps means it's likely to be a RAM problem.

If another code, that one means RAM fault.

While you've got the case open, see if you can find the BIOS manufacturer or at least the motherboard brand and model.
