When Im using my pc. I keep getting the sound of when you disconnect a usb device and then plug it back in.Im guessing something is faulty. I have tried to unplug one device at a time and then plug it in to determine which device is faulty. but missed something as I had no luck. is there a program or something that I can use so that my pc will log it. I looked through event manager and I could not find anything. Thankyou for youe time.

no...everything is just FINE

it`s normal for the computer to play sounds when connected/ disconnected a hardware...unless it`s error sound

Go to C:\WINDOWS\Media and play the related audio files --- then determine the sound you hear and the type of sound ( error or success )

Now that is a problem. Make sure you are malware/virus/root kit/keyboard logger free

I got to the point where I reformatted and had no luck that way. I have done a vuries check (kaspersky) and had no luck either. is there a way you can log things such as disconection of hardware so I can replace it?

Trial & Error
Disconnect all usb devices.

Does the system make the noise with no usb devices attached?

Attach a single USB device to a single port.
Swap it out to each port until you identify the port with the problem. I suspect one of your ports rather than a device.
