just a quick question, do i have to remove the hard drives when i want to install a new ram because when i opened the case it was really difficult to touch the ram. the computer is an Acer T300.

To remove hardrives all i have to do is unscrew it?

If the PC has a decent design, you shouldn't have to remove the HD but sometimes the manufacturers get cheap and the design is poor. The same thing applies to cars.

If you have to remove it, there are probably 4 screws and 2 cables going to it. In some cases, the entire assembly unclips.

Go to Acer Support and search for Ram Upgrade for your model Number. They should supply detailed instructions.

If you have the users manual, instructions may exist there.

There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
