hard drive partition problem

Hey!

My problem is that i'm trying to access my hard drive as a slave. the problem is that there is some info on the drive i need but partition is set as non-msdos and it is active. this happenned when i installed ez-bios about a year ago. it worked fine as a slave untill i switched it to another computer. now it detects but windows and dos wont give it a letter cause of the partition. someone help! i need this data quick!

I know there are programs out there to alter partitions and save the data........like DiskCommander........but if time and money are obstacles can you install the drive in another system and replicate the setup? Then you could transfer the data and do what you like to the drive

If you can put it back in the old system,
that would be the best. Provided you haven't
changed the Boot Drive.

The problem is that the EZ-BIOS was added to
the Boot Drive. If you have the EZ-BIOS
install floppies and they are bootable they
might work.

That is the major problem of disk overlay
software, if you change the configuration
or if the other drive dies, you can't get to
the data.
