Comment:

My XP hard drive does not boot up and it is not recognize in the BIOS if i disconnect my 2nd hard drive. I get an error that says:
Primary Hard Disk Drive 0 not found
Primary Hard Disk Drive 1 not found
When the 2nd Hard Drive is connected,my XP hard drive and 2nd hard drive are listed in the BIOS.My Xp drive is 'Primary Hard Disk Drive 1' while the 2nd hard drive is 'Primary Hard Disk Drive 0'.
All i want to do is remove the 2nd hard drive. I know that the cables are connected correctly and I have tried the jumpers but no luck.

Mike, swap the IDE cables over between the first and second hard drive and you should be right.
