I recently reformatted my laptop. It was working fine until today. It says OS not found so i went to bios and I found out that the Hard Drive is not detected. The HD shouldnt be fried since I dont leave it on for that long and i have a cooling pad. I also ran a virus scan last night and nothing appeared so it shouldnt be a cause of a virus.
Its a vgn sz650n sony laptop its not even a year old. Please help me

Did you purchase XP for this laptop or did it come from another computer, which was already activated. If so it's possible $MS has picked up on it and deactivated it.
