Wd Western digital my passport elite 250...

Specs: Macintosh
I have a WD external hard drive that I used on PC and MAC without any problems. My previous mac recently crashed and when I connected my WD to my new MacBook Pro it has been detected normally but I couldn't eject it anymore so I had to force the ejection.
Since then When I plug my WD to a PC or a MAc any computer whatsoever it can't be detected.
The hard drive seems to work as the blue light is there and it seems to run internally and correctly...

Anybody knows what I should do?

Force ejecting any hard drive may corrupt the data on the hard drive have you looked to make sure you can access your data? If not you may have to reformat the drive.

I wish I could access the data. As the harddrive is not detected I can't browse the content. I tried with a mac and a PC maybe I should try with linux? It just doesn't show up. Is there another way to access it? or push the detection?

You suggest to re-format the drive. But how would you do this if the OS doesn't detect it?

Thanks for your help.
