Specs: Windows 7, 4 GB
I have a Transcend 2.5" External Hard Drive of 250GB which has EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DATA.
Today, when I plugged it on my PC, it's not detected!!! Then I saw that there are ants moving in and out of the Hard Drive port!! I removed all the ants out, BUT!! My Hard Drive isn't still getting detected!! It's not even displayed in the 'Device Manager'!!!!! When I touch my Hard Drive, I feel the disk inside is rotating. But there's something that wants to move but can't. I can hear some sounds... There's something which wants to MOVE!!

My question is what should I do now??? I'll GIVE as much money it needs to get alright BUT I WANT THE DATA. IT'S SO SO SO SO SO IMPORTANT.

Sounds like the hdd isn't getting enough power, use rear USB ports or Y shape USB cable. U can also remove the drive from enclosure and connect it direct to your desktop.
