Hard Drive not detected by computer

April 7, 2011 at 08:37:32
Specs: Windows XP
I have 2 internal & 1 external hard drives. When I started computer 2 days ago only 1 of the internal drives was listed in the bios. The external hard drive says "boot disk error". Why does only 1 of my internal drives show up in the bios? How do I repair the "boot disk error" on my external drive.

What preceded this issue w/ BIOS not finding your HDDs, anything? Virus, hardware uninstall/install, software uninstall/install?

Make/model of PC? Are these internal drives IDE or SATA?

Do you BOOT from the external HDD?

MOOOOooove! OH and you're welcome!
