Hard Drive keeps Dying

Specs: Windows XP
I have a Dell D630 laptop and in the last 4
months It's blown 4 hard drives. Anybody know
why? Is this a know Dell issue?

How do you know the hard drives are been "blown"? Did you run a drive fitness utility from the hard drive manufacturer? If not, then you can't be sure you don't have some other issue.

If the drives have in fact been damaged, you could have a mains voltage problem.
Many years ago we had a customer that had the same problem and we decided to loan him a UPS for a few weeks, this cured the problem.
The choice may be, get an electrician to check mains supply or invest in a UPS, I suspect that would be cheaper if electricians charge the sort of prices they do here.
It's handy to have to protect your system anyway.
