I have an 80 gb hard drive that i need to recover if possible.. it was working fine and i restarted my system and it gives me the error that the data format is RAW, and cannot be accessed... I have tried accessing this on different OS's, win2k, winxp, mac osx, linux mandrake... internally and through an external USB hard drive case... no luck.. i have used DOS utilities, and they all say the disk needs formatted.... does anyone have any ideas here? i have over 40 gb of stuff that i dont really want to lose... any help is appreciated.. t.i.a.
