hard drive error message

OS: windows xp
CPU/Ram: celeron /256 mgs

My computer has trouble booting up I sometimes get a can not find hard drive error message or a c-mos settings have change press f2 to load default , the clock is never right .somtimes it works fine boots right up and works good , alot of the time I need my boot disk to get started , please help

You probably need to replace your motherboard battery.
