HELP!!! THIS IS MY MAIN LAPTOP AND IT DIED!!! IT __DIED__!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK... It's done this a few times now, it clicks and then my my mouse and keyboard stop responding, and the HDD light turns on... Today it did it again. I rebbooted it and it did it again... I rebooted it and... It stopped at the Toshiba screen, I pressed F12 for boot menu and then F2 for BIOS setup, just out of desperation... I went to BIOS and exited, then went to boot menu and selected hard drive... Then it went to network boot (I know it's network boot because it said "Exiting PXE ROM", and Google said that's what it was)... Then I went to BIOS, and in the main screen, it said "Hard drive: None"
WHAT?!?!?! Don't tell me my hard drive fried... If so, I really need a gun to shoot my head into pieces. I had all my "creations there. HELP!!!!!!!!! PLEAE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHA!! PERFECT!!! I called Toshiba, and the dude said it could be anything... He told me to take to a "qualified" repair center. I have to pay $35, plus the data recovery serv... HEY! Hold on, now that I'm writing this... Wasn't there something similar... Aha! The orange ad! http://www.runtime.org/ I'll see if I can use that... But anyways, the dude said that after some time the thing gets unplugged, and since I took it oout once to fix something else, I was filled with hope... No, that wasn't it. Well, now I have to choose between my data, my money, or my dad's hammer (for revenge purposes). No, I'll check that orange ad, http://www.runtime.org...

Q. Can I use GetDataBack to recover data if my hard drive is not recognized by the BIOS of my computer?

A. No, if the BIOS is not recognizing the hard drive, our software is not able to perform a recovery. Please make sure that the connections, jumper settings and controllers are ok. If the hard drive is still not recognized, try to connect it to another computer and see if it gets recognized there.

Dammit... Well, now I can go ahead and think of all the data I lost while crying out loud about it. (I hope I can bend that USB pendrive again and see if it works - I had that recovered data on the laptop, which included all my Internet site passwords)

You could pull the HDD and try to slave it t another computer using an IDE converter or USB 2.0 2.5 inch enclosure but I suspect that "dead is dead" and it won't work.

I have a good idea if you bought an adaptor
at below website you could recover your data.

The below website is just another reference to your problem.Do your own research on this
but, hard drive acting up is part of the symptoms.
