Hi, Finaly I got my power supply today and I install it to my new computer with a asus p5gd1 MB and when I start it and after boot up I got the message that my HD a 120 GB maxtor 7200 rpm was not detected. I install my HD on the PRI_IDE slot with jumper at CS and my dvd-rw and cdrom on the PRI_RAID slot. the bios detected my dvd-rw and my cdrom but no HD. I change it and still the same, please can some one give more help how do I have to install my HD or does the MB doesnot support 120 GB HD? I will install XP w sp2 on it
Hi I just got my 24 pin power supply today and I instal it to start my computer and to program it but it does not reconize my maxtor 120 GB harddisk. I have a dvd-rw and a cdrom and those 2 the bios

You MUST MUST MUST make a floppy disk with the RAID drivers for that mobo from Asus. When you boot from your XP disk, watch for when it asks to hit F6 to install third party drivers. It will continue (as if you never pressed F6) to load and get to a point where it will ask for your floppy. It will detect the floppy contents and you will pick which drivers to load. Pick the one for XP and hit enter. It will then detect your hard drive and continue with the installation.
Be CERTAIN to follow the directions on how to create the floppy. You can find it at Asus' website or you cab use the cd that came with your mobo. If you use the CD then choose explore rather then autorun and navigate to the IDE/RAID drivers.ASUS P5GD1
P-4 3.4 SOCKET 775 OCed to 3.9
1G Corsaire PC400
ATI RX700XL 256MB PCI-E

Use the CD...choose explore and open up the drivers folder. Then Open up the ITE8212 folder. There is an icon in there for MAKE DISK.exe........use that.
And remember to hit the F6 key repeatedly when prompted.ASUS P5GD1
