hard disk problem?

my hard disk is making tick tick sound and bios cant see the hard disk drive.
is the hard disk is damaged?

A clicking sound is not a good thing to hear on a HDD. If the bios can't see it, it probably means it gone. I hope you have a backup of all your important stuff.
