It just suddenly happened that my pc refused to boot from my hard disk. I used a boot disk to fix it and when i tried to look at the contents of the drive c from msdos, everything was gibberish. I tried to boot from a different hard drive as my previous one a slave and when i tried to open my old disk from windows, everything was normal! I reformatted my drive to fix it but everything was just the same. Now I tried to delete and create a new partition using partition magic 7.0 to replace the old one. The gibberish thing was gone but when you look at its contents from the msdos, it was different from what you can see from windows! Partition magic said it was an mbr virus, and indeed when i scanned it, there was an mbr virus. I thought it was fixed but the same thing happened, without the virus! Please help me!!!

Do an online virus scan from Housececall to double check. If there indeed is no virus, I would suggest reinstalling again. Do a fdisk and delete ALL partitions from the drive and then format (full format) them. Reinstall.
