Hard Disk Partition Problem

Suddenly i find no operating system in my computer and also i find no partition in my computer. After that i partioned my harddisk using fdisk command by a stsrtup disk . i partitioned 40 gb hard disk into four partitioned including one primary dos partition.then i fomat primary partition and install windows xp. After finishing installation i found only one partition in my computer i.e only primary partition(40gb fuul). but i want to keep four partition. please advice me accordingly.

Right click My Computer/ then choose Manage/ then Disk Management. You can partition your Harddrive from there.

Actually you have ALREADY partitioned your drive. But you need to FORMAT the remaining 3 partitions for XP to see them. All OS's only see formatted partitions not raw ones. Disk management can see the drive and the unformatted partitions. Just go into computer management and disk manager to format them.
