Hi,
My PC was working fine until this evening. But i just started it & it says "boot device not found, please insert the boot disk and press any key..."I tried resetting CMOS.
I changed bios boot device options but no result.
I also swap the IDE cables, and it didn't work. When i boot my PC using LinuxLIVE CD, it shows the harddisk (both partitions) and all the files on the hard disk.
I have ASUS P4 Motherboard (6-8 months old), I bought the hard disk 15 days ago & installed winXP on it. It was working great.
What could go wrong with a perfactly woking PC.
In short "BIOS DETECTS THE HARD DISK, BUT IT DOESN'T BOOT"
HDD is Primary Slave.
HDD is Seagate 120GB.Please help.

Do you have a floppy in the floppy drive?
