I have a Maxtor external hard disk. I unpluged it from desktop and pluged in (USB) to my laptop. My laptop could see the harddisk, but When I tried open the harddisk, it said I/O error. Then I unpluged the harddisk, pluged back to desktop, the desktop can see the harddisk, but when I tried open the harddisk, it said the hard disk is unformated. But I just used and all my data in there. Is the harddisk failed? Can I get my data back?
