Kinda the same question about the floppy having a RAW file system. I have a hard disk that says it's in RAW, but anyway I try to view it, it wants me to format it or can't read it. I know there is data on the disk. Is there a utility to convert it to a FAT32 or something, without touching any data on the disk? Any suggestions are great, thanks.

Try running a data recovery utility like Easy Recovery Pro or GetDataBack on the frazzled disk. It should be able to reconstruct the partition and allow you to salvage most or all of your data to a different drive. It will not actually write to the drive--the "reconstructed partition" is just a logical filter it uses to interpret the data on the drive.

I agree with Tropic.
Yesterday I had this problem with my second hdd.
I used GetDataBack 2.25.
It could read and recovery all data.
It's brilliant.
I suggest to everybody it.
