Hard disk corrupted and unreadable

my samsung 320 gb is currently corrupted and unreadable everytime i try to open it. this only happens on my laptop though. if i put it in my friends laptop. it can be used. can someone please help me?

My guess would be a connection problem in your laptop. Possibly a bent pin, if it's an IDE drive.

If it works OK on another computer then the problem is not with the drive. It's with the OS or USB connection on your computer. You might want to do some 'disk management' stuff with it.
