I did a simple Right Click Copy to get all the files from the original Smaller HDD to the Bigger HDD and it came up with a few files that couldn't be transfered because they were in use or something of the sort i was wondering if this is going to cause a problem or if there is another way to transfer files to the bigger Internal HDD because they are both in the computer i'd like to use the smaller one as the back up slave and have the bigger one as my primary HDD

Use the installation disk that came with the new drive (or download it from their site). There will be a disk copy utilty on it. Boot up with the disk and follow the prompts.

Another alernative is to boot into safe mode and do the file copy there then the files wont be in use.
If you are trying to copy the Operating Sstem files that is going to cause problems. You need a proper disk cloning utility to do that. A simple copy wont do it.
