i upgraded my lenovo desktop from xp to vista, but after that the sound stopped working, the sound picture had a x by it, when i opened sound devices it said there were none, but if i go into device manager it says there a sound device. so i either need to fix there or restore my desktop back to default so its xp again, iv tried the pressing f11 during startup and all it does is beeps and takes longer to start up, but nothing comes up and it caries on the start-up. Please help?!
You need to find a device driver for the sound device. You should be able to find it on the Lenovo website.
