Solved H2 allocate 1 unallocated partition without loosing data?

May 1, 2012 at 02:58:51
Specs: Windows XP
Using partition Magic 8.0 on Windows XP, I have tried to merge two NTFS partitions. The operation failed.
The partition K where I had my data (about 200Gb) is now considered as unallocated.
My backup isn't worth a eurocent .

Does anyone know of a good tool to change the partition into allocated while at same time recuperating the file system that is (likely) still present on disk, but unvisible for now?

many thanks,

Jean-Luc

Do a search for Easeus Partition Master Home Edition & Recuva.

Thks. I'm using R-Studio at that very moment - just started a scan. If it doesn't work I wil ldefinitively have a go for Partition Master.

I will let you know.

You can use Partition Assistant Home Edition to do such kind of work. It is totally free and safe.
