On many motherboards, such as mine, (Gigabyte GA7ZXE), there is a jumper for a "Green Switch", and "Green LED" on the front panel cjumper block. I am wondering what these are for. Even in my old P1, these jumper blocks were present, but not in use. Since my case does not make use of these 2 jumper blocks, and no case I have seen does either, does anyone know the function of them? My motherboard manual is giving me no help at all regarding this.

There is only one stupid question, the question that is not asked.

Just a guess! But I would say that it's probably a connection for a switch to put the system to sleep, instead of powering it off.
