I currently have a geforce 2 graphics card (yes I like nvidia all you ati fans kiss my a$$ LOL) anyways I was wanting to upgrade my graphics card which is like an agp 2x i think? to someting that could handle a game like battlefield 2, but any kind of graphics card that good obviously will run better than agp 2x so is there a way I can find a mother board that uses the same memory and processor but has a faster agp slot??? ..

You say your CPU is 1.7 Ghz, but what kind is it? I'm assuming it's a Pentium of some kind, but it could be AMD...

Anyway, if by some chance it's an AMD Athlon or Duron, you probably need a Socket A motherboard to make the CPU fit.
I'm not sure about the Pentiums, I'd need to know exactly what kind of pentium is is. (1,2,3,4, Celeron, etc)

I can't tell you more unless you can give me the exact one.

Also, you'll need to make sure the new board fits inside your current case. Do you know whether your current board is an ATX or Micro ATX form factor (size)? If you have a micro ATX case, a normal ATX motherboard would be too large to fit inside it.
I'd think if you google your current motherboard you should be able to find something to tell you what form factor you have.

"is there a way I can find a mother board that uses the same memory and processor but has a faster agp slot"

You know, we really can't tell you because we cannot read your mind as to what processor or memory you have.

And just because you spell a** with "$" doesn't mean that's not what you typed. :)

WILL POST FOR FOOD.
