I am killing myself over this on and off for 2 months. I bought a eVGA 9400GT vid card and a new 450w psu with dual +12v rails..each with 15amps. Usually when I boot the PC..I hear fans for 2-3 seconds,then the mobo beep,then it boots. When I try to boot WITH the card in..the fans spin for 12-15 secs,while the power light on the front panel flashes and I hear a clicking from the mobo speaker. The card is NOT recognized by the pc,and I have to revert to the VGA. I have tried EVERYTHING short of a new mobo. I tried bios,tried a diff psu,tried card in another pc,and even re-installed XP.I need help before I commit murder on this pc. Heres my equipment PC http://support.gateway.com/s/PC/R/1...
