Specs: Windows Vista, 4Gb 800MHz
I'm trying to find the best (highest spec) card for my machine. I would like to play HD games & improve system performance.
I bought a 8800GT, but had to take it back, as either it did not fit the board, or there was insufficient power as it made a beeping sound upon boot up. I was really disappointed as I was told this was a top card to have.
I shall now being upgrading my power supply to a Ezcool 650W PSU to overcome the power issue.
I would be grateful if any one can recommend a card that fits this motherboard.

Many thanks.

You would be far far better off with a Corsair PSU, stating 650W is meaningless, it is the Amps on the raiils which is important, plus the quality of the internal components:

The Geforce you had was not a bad card, but look at this list and see what fits your budget after spending $60++++ on a PSU.

Thanks for the reply.
Ezcool 650W ATX 24Pin Super Silent PSU, Blue LED Fan

Do you think I can fit an Ati 4890 512Mb in the board?

You can fit any pci-e card you want on the board. The power supply will determine what card. The 4890 will work if that's what you want. That power supply isn't the best. You should do what X86 mentioned and look for a psu with a single 12 volt rail, like the corsair. It's your money.

But ther are no specs listed. You bought it based solely on wattage?

£35.00 for an EBAY PSU, get real it is crap, buy from a reputable source.

Do a Google for EZCool.... not recommended.

Thanks for all your reponses. I have no knowlege of PSU. Yes I was buying purely on the wattage.

I can find a better PSU now thanks to the input above.

However will the 4890 fit the board? The RAM socket comes in the way for the 8800 card mentioned above or it is very close. I did'nt want to buy it unless I knew it would fit the specfic motherboard.
