What is the purpose of this upgrade? Gaming? A 250W PSU isn't gonna allow for much. How much are you looking to spend?

There are plenty of low end cards that will work that are much better than your onboard video, but the 250W PSU makes it a little tough when it comes to true gaming cards. The Radeon HD 4650 is a possibility, maybe even a Radeon HD4670 or the newer HD 5550 or HD 5570. None of these cards require the 6-pin PCIe power plug-in & all are better than the Geforce 8400, 8500, 9400 or 9500 series of cards. On the Geforce side, the GT 240 is probably your best bet. Just remember that any card that requires the 6-pin plug-in will most likely push your PSU to it's limit.
