Hey all,
I am looking to buy several graphics cards to support users who want dual monitor setups. Currently they are using HP DC5000 SFF (small form factor) workstations running XP Pro. My issue is that the workstations are SFF, requiring that any card AGP or PCI (x16) must be LP (low profile) to fit in the workstation.

Wondering if there are any decent Low Profile cards out there that have 2 port VGA or DVI built in?? either PCI, PCI x16, or AGP

Otherwise has anyone configured a dual monitor setup using ON-Board graphics and either a PCI, or AGP graphics card? I have not personally, however i do predict a headache or two trying to config ONBOARD video and a Graphics Card to work together seamlessly.

Graphics cards dont have to be anything special, i would assume 64mb would be enough...maybe even 32 but preferably 64MB and up. Just enough to support XP, web browsing, basic applications, etc. No graphics intensive apps or anything...

Any ideas/help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance!

You're not gonna find many 32MB or 64MB cards anymore. You should be thinking 128MB or 256MB.

Newegg.com has quite a few low profile 128MB AGP cards to choose from for well under $50.

If the low-profile graphics card doesn't have two monitor ports, and you'd like to use the onboard video to drive one of the monitors, then the new graphics card has to be a PCI model.

The reason an AGP card won't work with the onboard video at the same time is that only one AGP device can run at once, and your onboard video counts as an AGP device. So you'll need a PCI video card if you want to use your onboard at the same time.
