Comment:

I newly installed a 16" TFT wide monitor of LG. but hope my inbuilt graffix card is corrupted. So I installed a 1MB graffix card in the PCI slot. But the 1024x768 Resolution the colors are broken. in the resolution 800x600 the colors are OK but the edge of any picture or words are broken. What I should have to do? My in built graffix adaptor was 32MB. I also installed the driver of monitor. 256 MB graffix card will be supported in my mother board? how i check my in built graffix was corrupted?

Before installing the card you should have uninstalled the drivers for the onboard video, disabled the onboard in the BIOS, set the shared memory to None & set the Initial Display First to PCI.

Then shutdown, install the new card, connect the monitor to the card, bootup, then install the graphics drivers. Once that's done, set the resolution to the "native resolution" for your monitor. It should be listed in the spec sheet....probably 1360 X 768?

What video card did you buy? And which drivers did you use? The drivers have to be able to support the resolution. If you used the disc that shipped with the card, the drivers might be outdated.

Firstly there are no driver to install for grafix card because this is a plug and play device. Secondly, There is no option for choosing 1360x 768 resolution as per the monitor specification. There is last maximum option for 1024x768. But if I choose 1024x768 the color is broken and faded.
