I have been searching a good option for a video
card up-grade
on my PC.

It's a GA-8SRX P4 Titan DDR Motherboard
CPU-2.8GHz
RAM 1.5Gb
and the slot is AGP 1x/2x/4x

the current video card is a FX5200EP

searching on internet I found that the possibly
best option
would be an ATI radeon 9600 PRO

and I found one 2nd hand
ATi Radeon 9600 PRO Rev 1.1

specs
System Requirements
Intel Pentium 4/III/II/Celeron, AMD
K6/Duron/Athlon/Athlon XP
or compatible with AGP 4X (1.5V), 8X (0.8v) or
Universal AGP
3.0 bus configuration (4X/8X).
128MB of system memory
Installation software requires CD-ROM drive
DVD playback requires DVD drive
Graphics Technology
Radeon 9600 XT, Radeon 9600 PRO, Radeon
9600 or Radeon
9600 SE Visual Processing Unit (GPU)
Memory Configuration
128MB of double data rate SDRAM
Operating Systems Support
Windows XP
Windows 2000
Windows Me
Display Support
VGA connector for analog CRT
S-video connector for TV / VCR 1
DVI-I connector for digital flat panel 2
Independent resolutions and refresh rates for
any two
connected displays

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THIS IS A GOOD
UP-GRADE?
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD
CHECK BEFORE I
BUY THIS VIDEO CARD? THANKS A LOT!!

There are plenty of better cards than the outdated Radeon 9600Pro. What's the purpose of the upgrade - gaming? How much are you will to spend?

Have a look at the "Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart" on this page:

You'd be better off getting a Radeon X1650Pro:

Or if you're willing to spend a little more, have a look at the Radeon HD3650:
