Hi All,
I have Sparkle 6800gt 256mb with stock cooling. I want to consider OC'ing but would like to investigate some cooling option for my GPU before I do so as these things arn't cheap.

I've had a good look around and there seems to be lots to choose from, alot of them are monstrous in size, colour and stile and I like the look of these types but I suppose my question is, are they any good? It's ok looking fab but if they don't do what they are intended to do, better than what I already have, then whats the point.

Could anyone give my any recomendations (Apart from <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href="http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=22&k=water%20cooling" onmouseover="window.status='water cooling'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">water cooling).

Cheers folks

GaryM

Well remeber that not only do u need a good colling system for the GPU but also for the whole case and that u have good airflow. For example what is you current case and CPU temp and fans if available. what is your current setup. All these things will make an impact in what type of colling to choose

I have Coolermaster cavalier all aliminium case which was designed for keeping things cool. It has a medium fan taking air in at the front and a big 120m at the back for exhaust. My northbridge has a heatsink and fan. I have a Hyper 550w power supply with three fans(I think they all take airflow out of the case. My CPU temp reaches about 54 under full load and has stock cooling. My GPU gets to about 58-60 under full load.

All my IDE and sata etc cables are all thin type so as not to restrict airflow.

Hope this helps
