got a lap top has no hard drive and cady?

Specs: Windows XP

what is the cady lap top is a acer aspire 3002LCi and was wondering how to put new one in and if it is a sata or the other one and is the lap top sapos to have a power cord for the hard drive like the towers do dont see one but mite be mising like the hard drive is

The 3002LCi uses IDE/ATA100 hard drives. It appears the original was 40GB but you can go much larger. Newegg has 160GB drives for $60:
