Simply put here, I have an ATI Rage 128 Ultra AGP 4X graphics card and I just bought a new LCD widescreen monitor. The problem is that all the resolutions given are for standard resoulution monitors and my picture is stretched. Why cant I seem to find the proper widescreen resolutions?

Either you need to update the catalyst drivers or your card may not be capable. Check the ATI site and update to the latest drivers that will work with your card. By the way, you DID install the drivers for your new display, didn't you?

For some reason, when I went to ATI's site for legacy drivers, downloaded the Rage 128 drivers, it said the graphics card didnt match the drivers. But the card is a Rage 128 card. Also, yes, the monitor drivers are in.

Is the card a BUILT by ATI or a POWERED by ATI card? I'm not real familiar with the Rage series, maybe if it is powered by ATI you need to get drivers from the actual vendor.
