gigabyte p55 usb3 on board lan dont work

Specs: Windows 7 64 bit, intel i5 760/ 4 GB
i have just built my computer. I have had lots of problems but dont know what to do with this one. I have a gigabyte p55 usb3 motherboard and the onboard lan cannot detect my router. I have installed the drivers for the lan from the disk provided but nothing. The lan is not even in device manager i am stumped on whats wrong, hope someone can help.

Enter the BIOS & make sure your onboard devices are enabled.

Windows does not have drivers for USB 3.0 controllers. Install the controllers from the Gigabyte CD or from their site.

You should have installed ALL the drivers off the CD. Your motherboard hardware may be newer than your operating system. In that case Windows can't install the hardware correctly.
