Comment:

I have setup a Ghost boot DVD and only have one problem. I need it to be able to boot from any DVD-ROM.
My autoexec.bat is:

@echo off
mouse.com
SET TZ=GHO+08:00
MSCDEX /D:MSCD001 /L:X
PATH=a:\;a:\dos;x:\ghost;y:\ghost
echo Loading Ghost........
Y:
ghost.exe -clone,mode=restore,src=Y:\restore.gho,dst=1:1

Config.sys:

device=idecdrom.sys /D:mscd001

I can get it to boot from one drive or the other by changing the Y to X but i need it to try to load on X but if is is not there to load from Y. I have tried IF, GOTO and ERRORLEVEL statements but i allwase have to press A to abort before it will go to the next drive.

Thanks in advance,
This has been kicking my butt.

Well that explains why that part didn’t work. Do you have any other ideals?

If you are using ghost prior to 9 then it is dos.

There was a way to make a batch that asked a question and then used the input somehow. I forget. Maybe a menu deal??

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
