Hey, I recently bought a computer with 5.1 Creative Labs Speakers. Also the sound device is NVidia nForce Audio. At the moment I cannot get all 5 speakers to work, only the front 2. I have gone to Control Panel and changed the performance to 5.1 in the sound section and it did nothing.
Also going into the properties of sound there is no effect on tuning the bar up and down (there is no bar to turn on the central and rear lines).
Can anyone help me? A CD did come with the comptuer about the sound but I don't want to mess up the computer at all!

Since your onboard sound probably doesn't have 5.1 jacks, you'll have to map the center and rear channels to the Mic and Line in ports. I'm not sure if the Nvidia drivers will let you do that, I know if you have a Realtek audio chip it will.
