Hi, I have an irritating problem with my internal Card reader. Every now & again after boooting up, the green led is off & so cards cannot be read. During boot up & before windows loads, the green light is on, but when it has booted up, the led is off. I can rectify this by, unplugging the cables from the motherboard, booting up, reconnecting & booting up again. I read somewhere that I should set the services for Smart card reader to manual. This is did ages ago, but every now & again I have to unplug etc. Any ideas? Thanks Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.
