Generic Digital Camera Drivers (98)

I have bought someone a gift of an AGFA EasyPix SX digital camera for xmas, upon trying to install it, the software installs but the driver does not so it is useless. In the instruction book it says it works with Win 98SE but not win 98. I have win 98 and dont want to reformat to install another OS. Can i dl a generic driver from somewhere?

You need W98SE, see if you can buy a copy of the Upgrade CD on EBAY............................

To install win98SE, you DON'T have to format...just upgrade your 98 install to 98SE.
Why not just take the camera back & get one that works with your OS? The beauty of the 1st couple of weeks after Xmas is that you can usually return or exchange stuff with very little hassle...even if it's been opened or used....

I've also tried installing this camera on Win 98, Win 98SE and Win XP. I can only get it to work (briefly) on XP, but it keeps locking up and then dissapearing from Explorer. It's a total shambles. I got it from Dixons at the end of November. Anyone have any ideas, or does this need returning? It really is a nasty piece of kit.
