Well before I tell you my problem I am just going to tell you my setup really quick. INTEL PENTIUM 4 2.4GHZ 533MHZ FSB BUS P4 ASROCK PREMIUM MOTHERBOARD 5 PCI SLOTS / 1 AGP PRO SLOT/ 1 CNR / PRIMARY & SECONDARY ULTRA133 IDE PORTS 1024MB DDR 2700 64MB AGP GEFORCE 4 DRR VIDEO CARD (mx 440) 80G ULTRA 133 DMA FAST HARD DRIVE This is my problem. I installed Windows then I installed all my drivers. When I got to my video card driver I installed it and restarted the comp to finish the install. When my comp restarted it just kept restarting and restarting and restarting. The only way I could get Windows to start normally was if I went into safe mode and uninstalled my video card drivers.... Do any of you have any help for me? I have asked numerous other people and they have no clue. My OS is Win98SE.. Thanks.

did you install the lastest motherboard chipset drivers and directx? try that first, and reseat your video card

what "drivers" did u install ? just go to http://www.nvidia.com and install the latest DetonatorXP drivers off there, then see

i have a geforce 4 MX440 on my other PC and when i installed the drivers my pc really played up. and every driver did the same. the band new nvidia drivers run my other PC perfectly. give them a try.
